Nitor Skin (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the Nitor Skin application at nitorskin.com. We provide AI-powered skincare analysis and product recommendations through our Glow advisor.

  • Skin profile: skin type, concerns, allergies, budget, and other details you provide during onboarding.
  • Product data: products you scan or add to your shelf.
  • Usage data: interactions with Glow, routine history, and app activity.
  • Photos: skin check-in photos you optionally upload for progress tracking.

3. How we use your information

  • To generate personalized skincare recommendations through Glow.
  • To analyze product ingredient compatibility with your skin profile.
  • To send transactional emails (account confirmation, password reset).
  • To send our weekly newsletter if you opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To improve and develop the Nitor Skin service.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Supabase: authentication and database infrastructure.
  • Anthropic: AI processing for Glow's recommendations (your skin profile context is sent with queries).
  • Resend: transactional email delivery.

All third-party providers are bound by their own privacy policies and data processing agreements.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at privacy@nitorskin.com.

6. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate data.

Nitor Skin is not a medical service. Glow's recommendations are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice. Always consult a licensed dermatologist for serious skin conditions.
